USTAD BISMILLAH KHAN

Introduction :- Bismillah Khan (21 March 1916 – 21 Augest 2006) was born in Dumrao, Bihar. He was a famous clarinet player.Khan’s childhood name was Kamruddin. Khan Sahib had given the art of clarinet a different identity throughout the world. Today whenever a clarinet rings in a wedding, remember the story of Bismillah Khan Sahib. In the clarinet play he brought India to a different position, due to which the Indian government gave him the title of Bharat Ratna. There was no one to play the clarinet in his time. He had play clarinet the many countries and places of the world. He took the mind of people with the tone of his clarinet.They considered clarinet to be their second wife.

Family Introduction :- Bismillah’s father’s name Paigambar Khan and mather’s name was Miththan Bai. At the age of 16 Khan was married to Muggan Khanum. Khan loved his begum a lot. Khan Sahib had 9 children and with him khan had 66 people in the whole family. Sometime he used to call his house Bismillah Hotel.
